About The Jagermeister Music Tour
Jägermeister is proud to announce its fourth Jägermeister Music UK Tour in December 2014, once again providing a huge line up for a small ticket price. Last year’s tour saw the mighty GHOST, GOJIRA and THE DEFILED play to over 15,921 music fans as they packed out venues up and down the country. This year’s tour is set to repeat the success of the 2013 run, with a four-date tour headlined by Punk Rock legends ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES.
When five young friends from some of the mightiest bands on Fat Wreck Chords got together in the magical era of the 90’s and decided to bring together their collective wit to re-imagine pop songs as instant punk rock classics, they became the best cover band in the world. Featuring Spike Slawson on vocals, NOFX's Fat Mike on bass, Lagwagon's Joey Cape on rhythm guitar, current Foo Fighters member Chris Shiflett on lead guitar, and Lagwagon's Dave Raun on drums, ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES are a supergroup. THE GIMMES will be hitting Jägermeister Music Tour UK dates in support of their latest album “Are We Not Men? We Are Diva!”, released earlier this year and are inviting you to mosh your way through Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love you’ and Paula Abdul’s classic ‘Straight Up’ amongst many more.
East London-based reggae-dub four-piece THE SKINTS will co-headline this year’s event, bringing an infectious fusion of Jamaican styles to the fore with their pop hooks, grimey raps, filthy basslines and punk rock ethic, creating the perfect mix to get the party crowd on their feet. Following the release of their “Short Change” EP earlier this year, the genre-defying outfit supported by Jägermeister on their band roster, has spent the summer recording their highly anticipated third album with renowned producer and close friend, Prince Fatty. Well-versed in setting festival scenes and stages alight, their inimitable live performances are not to be missed.
