About Hillsong United Welcome Zion
Hillsong United Welcome Zion comes to The O2 in London on Sunday 14th September. Hillsong United are a world-renowned Australian worship band who are part of the Hillsong Church.
Hillsong United originally came together in the early 1990s after close friends involved in the youth ministry created "Powerhouse Youth". The group was led by Phil and Lucinda Dooley and they played original songs as well as new arrangements of hits of the time. Powerhouse Youth split into two bands; Powerhouse and Wildlife in the late 1990s and while both groups went on to play separately for many years they often performed as a collective for "UNITED" Nights. The groups would eventually merge completely in 2002 to create Hillsong United.
