The Bedford band had been first started by the school friends before they went to University. But it was only truly formed in 2008. Trying a number of different names, including Club Sex and Don Loco, the band settled on Don Broco after Delaney broke his wrist whilst playing football.
In 2010 the band threw themselves into a relentless touring schedule, stopping only the next year to record their six track EP Big Fat Smile. The record was well received by both Kerrang! and Rock Sound. Later in the year the EP was followed by the release of their self-recorded single Dreamboy.
Continuing their exhaustive touring, the band were on the road by the start of 2012 before the announcement that they had signed to new label Search And Destroy Records. The single Priorities was released as the ink was barely dry which continued to see the band gain traction.
The debut album was named Priorities which stemmed for the titular single and was released on the same day as their second single Actors. The band continued their trend for heavy touring to promote their album.
This touring ceased in 2014 as they needed the time and focus to be dedicated towards writing the second album. The result was their record Automatic which was released in 2015. It features the titular single Automatic plus Superlove.
